The LCCC warmly welcomes any boulderers to the club and we hold regular meets both locally at crags like Brownstones and Craig y Longridge as well as UK wide In the Peak district, Yorkshire and elsewhere. Periodic trips are arranged to destinations further afield such as Fontainebleau and there is a thriving and friendly bouldering community within the club.
The Lancashire Caving and climbing club is not just a club for those interested in the rope. We welcome all boulderers to the club irrespective of what standard you climb at. There are many members passionate about bouldering and ready to provide a mat and useful spotting. Whether it’s the slopey grit outcrops of the Peak district or the Lancashire crimpy quarry test-pieces you’re after, you can always find a meet to go on to test your skills and friendly members to enjoy the climbing with. Club meets are held throughout the year usually at crags where there is a good opportunity to take a pad and go bouldering.
